**************************************************************** PRÄSENTATION / TRANSMUTE PROJECT tools, interfaces, artistic practice **************************************************************** ++++ Nomeda & Gediminas Urbonas ++++ TRANSmute is an open framework for participants to unfold hidden routes of split identities in Lithuania. It deals specifically with the artificial space of post-Soviet mentality, reflecting notion of Hanna Arendt “ between what is no longer and not yet”. By emphasizing collaboration, project creates a dialogue with Lithuanian feminists, psychiatrists, film domain, and introduces specialists from different fields, such as gender, animation and history. Participants join with a model to map the script that of a victim. The work finds its logic of construction site featuring interlinked parts of film archive, video interviews, session, scripting seminar, animation workshop and website.
