++++ Born 1968 in Stompwijk, The Netherlands. Lives and works in Amsterdam. Studied at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, The School of the Chicago Art Institute, and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.

++++ My work consists of films, videos and interventions in public spaces. In my films and videos I am interested in the disconnection of the camera from the eye, in order to create an awareness of our ways of seeing and to discover new ways of perceiving the world. In my work in public spaces I propose possibilities for art to infiltrate daily life in a casual way, without turning the work into a monument. (Jasper van den Brink)
