++++ In her works, Lise Harlev (born 1973 in Odense, Denmark) investigates the constitution and the ways of dealing with national and cultural identities. Cultural prejudices, national stereotypes and problems of communication are the subject. The media which Lise Harlev uses are usually texts incorporated in public uses such as posters, brochures and leaflets. For Manifesta 4, Lise Harlev designed posters which raise questions from the perspective of home countries concerning the factors influencing participation in an internationally oriented art biennial.
