++++ ATLAS PERÚ crosses the Peruvian history of the 20th Century, especially in the way it has been seen by Peruvians through the eyes of the mass media and similar means. Several urban culture icons appeared between 1932 and 2001. The result is a big portrait of the country in its diverse ups and downs, the narration of the national political journey, or if it is preferred, the cultural history of several attempts and failures in the search for well-being. In this way, a comparative history of this perspective with the irruptions onto the scene of some planes of critical political culture (popular journals, peasant actions and political meetings), necessarily reproduce those confrontations of the century, apparently returning to its chronological linearity and providing as evidence a cosmetic official speech that Bryce’s installation confronts with intelligence and a critical gaze.
